2. SENTÉ Ultralight Defense Moisturizer ($69)

“This is an excellent moisturizer that makes the skin look and feel soft, radiant, and moisturized all while providing antioxidant benefits,” says New York dermatologist Doris Day, MD. “The instant and long-lasting moisturization includes niacinamide, which promotes healthy skin barrier and helps visibly brighten skin, and panthenol, a humectant which attracts moisture to the skin and holds water in, keeping the skin hydrated. This moisturizer defends against oxidative stress through physalis pubescens and creates an enhanced lipid barrier and lipid resilience with sunflower and soy derived phospholipids.”

Another benefit? “It has the perfect balance of being thick and moisturizing, but it’s not too sticky or difficult to apply. I find it to be very similar to the most expensive luxurious creams but at an affordable price.”

7. Epionce Medical Barrier Cream ($25) or Enriched Firming Mask ($42)

“I slather my face, lips and neck with either product when my skin is really dry,” says Hinsdale, IL, dermatologist Christina Steil, MD. “Both products contain the lipids your skin needs to heal, and it can be used head to toe.”
